One of my favorites, with a red tipped leaf in spring. It's name means 'red nail'. The color belnds into the light green of the leaf and lasts well into early summer.

Red colors dominate in fall. Makes a rounded bush up to 10 feet tall on maturity and almost as wide. Tender and not easy to propagate. A great companion to dissectums. Plants are 12-15" tall.
