This is an improved form of 'Deshojo'. Although this is a green leaf form it is best known for it fire engine red leaves in SPring as the new growth emerges.

This color holds for about a month before gradually turning reddish-green over summer. This tree has small leaves and is often used for bonsai and container growing.

It makes a shrub up to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide when mature.
