Oshio beni is a red leaf Japanese maple.  The 'mom' of these seeds has more of an orange-red coloration than most red Japanese maples. New season growth is bright, then bronzes in summer. Fall color is strong scarlet.

Note: seed does not come 100% true from the named parent as we do not know the source of the pollen that germinated the seed. Like our children, seedlings should have similar characteristics to the parents.
