A vareigated tree in the 'matsumurae' group. Makes an unusual addition to the landscape for the maple-aholic. Has brick red leaves with variation in sun or shade and depending on the age of the leaves.

Unique red shades into green on the sides of the lobes with different colored veins - the main vein being almost black red and the side veins lighter tones.

Makes a small shrub or small tree up to 22 feet on maturity. Plants are 30" tall.
