Inaba shidare is also considered to be 'Red Select'. Leaves are large for dissectums and develop a deep purple red and retain it well through the season.
Tips can burn in hot direct sun if soil is allowed to dry out. A more upright form than traditional dissectums although still has the weeping style. It has been cultivated in Japan since the mid-1800s.
