This dwarf variegated tree may be considered the variegated form of 'Kotohime'. Its name means "dwarf multicolored old harp".

Has rich green folaige with varying amounts of variegation on each leaf. Some have speckles and some are all green. Markings are small and overlapping in white, cream, light yellow, pink and red colors. Wonderful Spring effect!

Rarely exceeds 3 feet tall with short stubby growth habit. Rare in culivation and hard to propagate - a "must have" for the maple-aholic! Plants are 15-20" tall.
